It is commonly referred to as the diagnosis and treatment of all problems related to the ear, nose, and throat (ENT). In addition, Otolaryngology comprises several subspecialties as well: Laryngology (Voice and Swallowing Disorders including obstructive sleep apnea), Rhinology (Nose and Sinus), Otology(Ear), Head and Neck Cancer, Pediatric Otolaryngology, and Facial Plastic Surgery.

As an ear, nose, and throat specialist, Dr. Florea completed a subspecialty fellowship in Laryngology- Care of the Professional Voice at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In addition, he also has fellowship training in the Otolaryngology subspecialty of facial plastic surgery. Dr. Florea is Board Certified to treat all problems of the Ear, Nose, and Throat
